Team building exercises are often tedious and resented by staff, but the intentions behind such exercises are quite clear:

The aim of team building yoga, is to perform a series of challenging movements that are not possible as individuals, but require pair work, or in some cases an entire team of people. Such challenges can be as simple as “Try to stand up using a partner without using your arms” or more complex multiperson activities that involve creating shapes, or moving as one unified group across a room. Such exercises require close physical proximity and contact, attention and care, cohesive thinking and moving, and a high level of focus.
